Everything is about energy.

The energy introduces you before you even speak. The moment you meet someone, you simply know what type of person you are dealing with. You know it from a body language, posture, behavior, the way they look, walk or smile.

Some people can make you feel happy, enthusiastic, calm, or relaxed, just by being around them. Some people can make you feel sad, angry, bored, or stressed simply by their presence.

You attract the energy that you give off.

The way you feel around certain people will tell you if you should keep them close, or let them go. Their toxic energy can block you from progress, no matter how hard you try. You can call it intuition or an inner voice, but somehow we can sense that persons emotional state.

Pay attention to how someone treats other people. It not only shows how they respect other human beings but also a direct reflection about how they feel about themselves. Some people will be better by staying in your life, while others will be better by staying out.

Surround yourself with people who push you to be better. No drama or negativity. No draining of energy. We should be selective with our attention because attention feeds focus. When you pay attention to something, you “buy” into that experience, whether it is good or bad. You don’t have to think about doing the right thing. If you’re for doing the right thing, then you do it without thinking.
