Ever felt so worried you’re constantly thinking about the future and what is going to happen?

Ever felt so worried you’re constantly thinking about the future and what is going to happen?……. Yes? Well remember, no one knows what the future holds.
.
Anticipatory anxiety describes fear and worry around bad things that could happen. It can happen in a lot of different contexts, but it commonly focuses on things you can’t predict or control.
.
Uncertainty can be frightening, especially when you want to protect yourself from harm. It is not possible to predict the future, so it’s important to find ways to cope with the unknown so these worries don’t cause problems in your life.
.
You can’t fully appreciate today if you worry too much about tomorrow. Realize that tomorrow is going to happen whether you worry about it or not. And since worry has never accomplished anything for anybody, redirect your mental energy elsewhere. If you can only live one moment at a time, you might as well make it the present.
.
Worrying is often based on baseless nonsense and situations that may never happen. It’s up to YOU to train your brain to focus on things that can be done today. Instead of focusing on all the bad things that could happen tomorrow.

Nothing is either good or bad, it’s your thinking that makes it so….. “You life is what your thoughts make it.” – Confucius
.

.
In order to adopt more positive thinking patterns, you must first become aware of your current ways of thinking. By cultivating mindfulness, you can acknowledge and identify the thinking patterns that have become habitual, then decide whether or not to engage them.
.
Worrying activates your fight-or-flight response which actually shuts down your creative problem-solving thought process. Remember, worrying won’t solve your problems.
.
So, the next time you start to feel anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed, try to reframe the situation and look at it from a slightly different angle. Reframing is one skill that can truly change the way you think.
.
You cannot predict the future. You only live once, so live like a warrior who will face any problems that’s gonna come, when it comes. Be clear on what you can do something about, and what is beyond your control. 👊🥋
