Finding peace of mind.
.
In this chaotic environment, it seems like we all need a small space for ourselves. A place in which we can find peace, reveal the true self and learn how to live the life our way.
.
But looking for an outside space is not where you will find peace. The only place where you can find peace is inside yourself.
.
Forgive yourself, apologize to yourself, give yourself a break from the storm inside you. Do whatever you need to heal your own soul.
.
We carry with us at all times, the greatest peace we can ever hope for. We just let our mind take over, always thinking, always anticipating.
.
It’s true that our state of mind is governed by how we react or how we respond to a situation rather than the situation itself.
.
We cannot control the world around us, but we can control to what extent we will participate in it. If we get ourselves involved in every situation or activity that comes our way, we expose ourselves to experiences that may or may not be conducive to our peace of mind. Therefore, we have to be smart and pick and choose, if we value our peace of mind.
.
You can NOT find peace just anywhere. Because you are immersed in it. But then you may ask why am I unaware of it? Well because you have a big list of conditions to be fulfilled before you are willing to acknowledge inner peace.
.
If you are looking for the tools that can help you develop self-restraint and purify your mind, then meditation, mindfulness, and contemplation can help.
.
There are so many positive perspectives to every negative event in your life. If you just start recognizing that….. then peace is nowhere but here, and now.
.
“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.” – Wayne W. Dyer
