A real martial artist does the right thing, not what suits him. “Meiyo” (honor). It is the most important virtue of all. You only have one judge of your own honor, and that is yourself. The choices you make and how you make them are a reflection of who you really are. You can’t hide from yourself.

This is all about moral values. Good morals always involve good manners. Treating others with respect. Respecting the personal space of others. Respecting the privacy of others. Respecting the personal time of others.

Act in a way that is good for you now, later, and across time, and in a way that is good for other people, even your enemies, both now and in the future…….
