“You are what your teacher is…”

“You are what your teacher is, and if he knows a lot, you should be able to demonstrate this knowledge.” – Yuchoku Higa 10th dan (1910–1994) founder of Kyudokan Dojo, Okinawa.

If you decide you are going to do something, then you have to do it well and to the best of your ability, which means paying attention to every little detail. Don’t be someone who just does something to get by and get it done quick.
.
Everyone has differently levels of ability, both physical and mental. The most we can do, is make an effort to perform to the best of our abilities.
.
People who are continuously striving to do their best most likely have a goal they want to achieve. If you want to have this mentality you need a reason to try your hardest at ALL things.
.
And mindset is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of striving to do your best. In the final analysis you become what you do. Your behavior defines your results.
.
Commitment is everything. Commitment implies choice. If you want to do everything you do to the best of your ability, you have to be focused.
.
By looking to achieve the best of your performance, with the understanding that what you do will never be perfect, you can continue to move forward and get better and better at what you do.
.
But you have to view yourself objectively; you will realize all the things you need to improve on, all the things you need to change. Don’t be satisfied with; “that’ll do.”
.
Strive for commitment, a positive mindset, one that says; “I am going to try my best.” Be the best YOU can be. ??
