You are your own worst enemy.

“You are your own worst enemy. Fortunately, you know all your weaknesses.”
.
You know yourself better than anyone and you know where you want to go. Therefore you need to create a path on which you are going to step in and on.
.
One of the problems about today’s society is that many people do not take responsibility for their problems, or their lack of success, preferring to blame others or to take refuge in the belief that the world is stacked against them. They don’t realize that their worst enemy is staring right back at them in the mirror.
.
If you do anything wrong that you are very well aware of, that it’s an obvious injustice to yourself, and still you do it, then you are failing your own beliefs. You must try to establish a system of self-reliance and independence for the sake of yourself, and this will help you in achieving the best of you.
.
Eliminate the mistakes, the lack of preparation, the self-inflicted wounds, and you just might succeed. Analyze yourself and take responsibility for your own actions and mistakes. Ask yourself; “can I do better?”
.
Practicing martial arts is mostly an individual endeavor. Any success or failure will be entirely up to you.
.
Be honest with yourself because nobody is responsible for your ultimate destiny except you. You are, who you allow yourself to become. Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.
.
When we listen to our ego, we always expect to be rewarded for our actions. When we don’t achieve what we’ve set out to do, we feel disappointed, and sometimes this results in us giving up completely.
.
So don’t limit your beliefs and ideas about what you can and cannot do. Take control of your ego and focus on becoming the best martial artist you can be.
.
Don’t be your own worst enemy. ??
